It requires a completed CPA designation, finance or accounting education, strong business-partnering experience, advanced communication skills, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, and approximately 25% travel.

Leads financial planning, forecasting, month-end reporting, cost governance, variance analysis, and business-case development for underground mining operations. Partners with operational teams to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, apply cost leadership practices, and guide decisions through data-driven analysis and recommendations. Manages concurrent projects, aligns financial initiatives with strategic objectives, and presents complex financial and operational information to internal stakeholders.

Lead end-to-end procurement, sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship activities for large capital projects. Manage competitive bids, commercial evaluations, award recommendations, cost-saving initiatives, strategic sourcing, and contract implementation. Partner with stakeholders to align procurement with project objectives and improve processes, tools, templates, and supplier engagement practices.

Coordinate and optimize contractor services supporting smelter and refinery operations, including contractor onboarding, governance, compliance, site access, scheduling, logistics, equipment rentals, cost control, HSE support, field verification, and performance follow-up. Partner with operations, supply chain, HSE teams, and external contractors during routine work, shutdowns, and improvement projects while driving continuous improvement and service reliability.

Lead tax workstreams for complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions, restructures, strategic projects, and M&A. Provide commercially focused cross-border tax advice, assess risks, support senior decision-making, and align recommendations with governance requirements. Build and coordinate internal and external project teams, manage advisers, challenge assumptions, and develop practical tax positions. Partner with senior stakeholders across Tax, Finance, Legal, and Business Development in a global, matrixed organization.

Serve as site technical authority for underground ventilation and mine air quality. Develop Life of Mine ventilation strategy, model systems (VentSim/Deswik), set standards, review designs and layouts, manage atmospheric monitoring, ensure MSHA compliance, mentor staff, and provide technical oversight for ventilation, refrigeration, contaminant control, and emergency ventilation.
