Prepare single line diagrams, electrical layout and wiring drawings in AutoCAD; create cable routing and schedules; perform transformer, cable, earthing, lighting, and load calculations; review supplier drawings and coordinate vendors; inspect vendor facilities and monitor engineering deliverables to meet specifications and timelines.

Lead a team of electrical and controls engineers to design, deliver, and commission bulk material handling electrical systems. Manage vendors and subcontractors, prepare specifications, review designs and calculations (power distribution, one-line, cable sizing, PLC/HMI, P&ID), estimate labor/materials, support FATs, and provide status reporting while ensuring compliance with codes and project budgets and schedules.

Lead procurement activities including RFQs, bid evaluation, purchase order processing, vendor selection and negotiation. Coordinate with engineering/project teams on specifications, monitor supplier performance and delivery, maintain procurement records and MIS, ensure ISO and statutory compliance, and support cost-reduction and process improvements.

Supervise erection and installation of transformers and panels, perform electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning, verify PLC I/O and interlocks, conduct no-load/load trials, troubleshoot faults, coordinate with project and automation teams, ensure safety compliance, prepare commissioning documentation, and support handover to operations.
