Build and continuously tune antifraud rules for a real-time payment decisioning platform. Translate fraud, AML, compliance, and operational requirements into production logic, APIs, integrations, and microservices. Analyze Salmon’s deposits portfolio end to end, including reporting, product metrics, funnels, retention, liquidity, concentration, churn forecasting, segmentation, research, and unit economics. Use SQL and statistical analysis to investigate business questions, identify drivers, and translate findings into clear recommendations for product teams. The role may also involve Databricks, Spark SQL, dbt, Python, and BI dashboards, with fintech or banking experience preferred.

Leads a team of three AML investigators and builds Salmon Bank’s financial crime investigations function. Oversees alerts, referrals, suspicious activity cases, STR recommendations, escalations, QA, SOPs, case templates, and investigation standards. Partners with Compliance and the MLRO, manages workloads and SLAs, reports investigation KPIs, and helps select and tune transaction monitoring tools. Ensures audit-ready records and supports the development of scalable investigation playbooks, thresholds, and quality controls.

Lead application security across mobile banking, payments, and regulated products. Conduct threat modeling, secure SDLC design, CI/CD tuning, supply-chain and secrets posture, and vulnerability management. Translate security risk for engineers, regulators, and the CISO while owning processes, tooling, and remediation workflows.

Design, build, and maintain Salmon's Frontline Employees Database and related internal apps. Implement automation and integrations (n8n, REST APIs, webhooks), evolve PostgreSQL schemas, build UIs in Retool, script in Python/JavaScript, troubleshoot and support existing tools, and collaborate with HR and Operations to turn requirements into reliable internal products.

Design, build, and own scalable batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines and lakehouse architecture on Databricks/AWS. Optimize Spark jobs and storage, manage Databricks workflows and Unity Catalog, ensure data correctness, and collaborate with analytics, engineering, and product teams.

Lead retailer acquisition and partnerships across categories, negotiate commercial terms, manage retailer onboarding and account engagement, drive growth and retention through data-driven strategies, provide reporting, and hire/train a sales/distribution team while collaborating cross-functionally to meet company objectives.
