Build and own AWS infrastructure for a regulated payments platform. Responsibilities include infrastructure provisioning with IaC, environment management, CI/CD pipelines, reliability and observability, database and data infrastructure, cost control, patching, disaster recovery, and incident response. The role partners with engineering, data, security, and outsourced teams while establishing platform engineering standards and growing the function.

Own end-to-end design, development, deployment, and support of CreatePay’s AWS-based PayFac and acquiring platform. Design resilient distributed, event-driven, serverless systems; build APIs and integrations with payment, KYC/KYB, fraud, and banking providers; develop data models and pipelines; and ensure secure, PCI-aware, observable infrastructure. Act as a technical partner to the CTO and de facto product owner, independently defining scope, validating third-party work, and applying AI and automation to improve delivery.

Office-based outbound Sales Development Representative generating pipeline by calling SMEs, qualifying opportunities, booking appointments for field sales, building relationships with decision-makers, understanding client needs, maintaining activity records and hitting activity and sales targets.

Protect and grow existing customer accounts by handling renewals, pricing reviews, and cancellation requests. Proactively contact customers, resolve inbound queries, negotiate retention offers, update CRM and shared inboxes, liaise with partners to meet SLAs, assist with reporting and admin, and suggest process improvements while supporting team training.

Make outbound calls to UK SMEs to generate opportunities, set appointments for Area Sales Managers, build relationships with decision-makers, diagnose client pain points, pitch tailored payment solutions, and maintain industry and competitor awareness. Role is office-based in Milton Keynes with a focus on hitting sales targets and contributing to team growth.
