Lead technical authority within multidisciplinary teams to design, model, test and substantiate underwater sensing solutions (sonar, sonobuoys, transducers). Drive innovation, root-cause analysis, and mentor engineers while ensuring systems meet defence project requirements and qualification standards.

Manage the Electrical Engineering department for maritime defense systems, leading staffing, recruitment, project execution, design reviews, process compliance, and technical oversight to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Coach and develop engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensure a safe work environment. Travel ~10% to test sites and suppliers.

Lead configuration management activities across engineering, quality, and supply chain. Maintain PLM/ERP data integrity, manage ECR/ECP workflows and CCBs, perform PCAs/FCAs, produce government deliverables (CDRLs), manage BOM/document cross-references, lead a small CM team, and improve PLM workflows and change governance.

Design, analyze, and test mechanical components for naval systems; select materials/processes, use design and modeling tools, conduct prototype testing, document results, and support project delivery within cost, schedule, and quality constraints.

Design, develop, and test analog, digital, and RF circuitry for ASW receiver systems. Perform trade-offs, risk assessments, prototyping, debugging, documentation, and integration with multidisciplinary teams. Mentor junior engineers and support production, verification, and validation. Occasional travel required.
