Provides temporary or ongoing leadership for assigned school campuses, assessing needs and directing instructional programs, staff performance, student achievement, campus culture, safety, compliance, budgets, facilities, communications, and daily operations. The role supervises and develops staff, manages improvement plans, supports families and communities, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads campuses through vacancies, transitions, growth, or periods of heightened need.

The Dean of Students oversees student discipline, behavior management, attendance support, parent communication, and student assistance programs. The role supports teacher onboarding, classroom observations, professional development, tutoring operations, 504 plan implementation, McKinney-Vento services, and Title IX compliance investigations and training. The Dean supervises staff, maintains records, collaborates with families and community organizations, and helps ensure a safe, equitable learning environment.

Assists with school administration, instructional oversight, staff hiring and evaluation, student discipline, testing coordination, attendance, emergency planning, special education meetings, athletics, community education programs, and English learner services. Supervises teaching and support staff, develops schedules, communicates with families, manages compliance activities, and supports junior high operations. Requires a master’s degree in education, progress toward administrative certification, background clearance, and occasional local and in-state travel.

Provide classroom and administrative support under the principal/teacher supervision: assist with clerical tasks, supervise students during drills, recess, lunch and field trips, help with drop-off/pick-up, reinforce lessons in small groups, assist with educational computer programs, and perform other non-professional duties as assigned.

Provide classroom and campus support in a K-8 setting: supervise students, assist teachers with grading and materials, cover office duties, support driveline, lunch/recess, emergency drills, and small-group instruction.
