Lead and grow SPAR, a large remote AI safety research fellowship. Own end-to-end program operations, recruit mentors and mentees, manage project matching, hire and lead research managers, improve systems, cultivate mentor relationships, and contribute to Kairos strategy and cross-cutting initiatives.

Build and run Kairos’s end-to-end hiring function, source and close candidates, and create durable hiring systems. Scale internal recruiting from 7 to ~20 staff, lead ecosystem headhunting and early-career placements, manage Talent Commons onboarding and data quality, and shape product and strategy. Grow the function into a small team and track placement outcomes across the AI safety ecosystem.

Own core back-end operations for a nonprofit: pay vendors, supervise accountants, support bookkeeping and audits, manage payroll/benefits/onboarding, process grants/payments, support fiscally sponsored groups, build automations and internal systems, handle participant support and program operations, and pitch in on ad-hoc operational needs.

Manage and support mentors and 400+ mentees in a large, remote AI-safety research fellowship. Serve as the main point of contact, run cohort programming and events, co-own Demo Day, troubleshoot mentor/mentee issues, conduct 1:1s, and contribute to recruiting, matching, timelines, and feedback systems to keep the program running smoothly.
