The Business Development Manager sells lubricants, fuels, propane, and related services within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, winning new business, expanding existing accounts, preparing proposals and quotes, maintaining CRM activity, resolving customer issues, and coordinating with internal teams. The role requires consultative selling, technical knowledge of industrial applications, pipeline development, territory planning, customer relationship management, and participation in trade shows and sales training.

Sells lubricants, fuels, propane, and related services to existing and prospective customers within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include prospecting, building customer relationships, developing sales proposals, managing CRM activity, growing market share, resolving customer issues, coordinating with internal teams, and attending sales meetings, training, trade shows, and conventions. Requires consultative selling experience, technical knowledge of industrial applications, and the ability to manage long sales cycles.

Coordinates fuel deliveries by assigning drivers, trucks, and routes; monitoring fleet activity, hours of service, schedules, and delivery performance. Maintains fuel inventory, manages orders, allocations, pricing, accessorial fees, and third-party carriers. Communicates with customers, drivers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams; resolves service issues and emergencies; prepares incident reports; supports onboarding and compliance; and helps optimize safety, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Drive sales of fuel, lubricants, propane, and fleet card solutions by identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships, presenting products, negotiating and closing deals, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Support financial health through preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, ensuring accounting compliance, conducting financial analysis, collaborating with auditors, and overseeing internal controls.
