Manage and negotiate a high-volume California workers' compensation caseload, evaluate case files and QME reports, calculate damages, conduct depositions as needed, and secure settlements while communicating with all parties and meeting settlement metrics.

Manage a high-volume California workers' compensation caseload: review files, maintain notes, communicate with parties, attend hearings (including WCAB), and perform related case tasks. Remote role; must reside in California.

Lead and supervise the Workers' Compensation practice: develop case strategies, mentor attorneys, handle complex matters, oversee trials/hearings and negotiations, run client webinars, and foster a collaborative team culture focused on client advocacy.

Represent and manage a docket of workers' compensation cases to resolution. Prepare and attend depositions, respond to client inquiries, communicate with clients and support staff, invoice depositions, and provide guidance to non-attorneys while collaborating with senior associates and support teams.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, complaints, and discovery documents; conduct legal research; collaborate on case strategy with attorneys and staff; manage assigned caseload and communications; perform other litigation-related duties.

Perform client intake and fact-gathering, evaluate potential employment claims, draft legal correspondence and recommendations, manage high caseloads, maintain case documentation in the case management system, collaborate with attorneys, provide client updates, and meet productivity and quality benchmarks.
