Installs, calibrates, configures, programs, and troubleshoots industrial control instrumentation and electrical systems. Maintains PLCs, HMIs, variable speed drives, servo controllers, and Ethernet-connected devices. Responds to electrical breakdowns, performs preventive maintenance and continuous improvement activities, replaces components, and supports production equipment installation and standardization. Works rotating 12-hour day and night shifts under applicable electrical regulations.

The intern works with country finance and controlling teams, handles confidential financial data, supports internal control compliance, and participates in FP&A projects and best-practice development.

Design, audit, and support glass melting furnaces and refractories worldwide. Scope and manage design/repair projects, supervise construction and hot repairs, perform campaign life assessments, provide technical support, and ensure safety and budget adherence.

Manage North America manufacturing capital and expense plans (~$100M+), oversee 15 plants' CAPEX forecasting, reporting, PSR/901E and SAP project systems administration, ensure SOX compliance, coordinate stakeholders, vendor/payables, tax incentives, capital leases, and drive portfolio prioritization and risk mitigation.

Process and reconcile weekly complex hourly payroll, ensure SOX compliance, support benefits and compensation administration, assist plant HR manager with disability, relocation, requisitions, employee records, training, performance tracking, labor relations, and grievance administration.

Supports IT projects and internal processes across SAP implementation, enterprise architecture, application development, and infrastructure. The intern works with teams on individual and collaborative projects, develops technical and organizational skills, receives mentorship and feedback, and gains exposure to IT operations and applications in a global manufacturing organization.

Supports plant HR operations including hourly payroll processing and reconciliation, payroll reporting, benefits and compensation administration, employee records, performance tracking, disability processing, HR requisitions, training, employee development, labor and employee relations, grievance administration, and succession planning. Partners with plant leadership to implement HR processes accurately and compliantly.

Drives customer experience transformation by analyzing commercial processes, gathering requirements, and delivering technology-enabled solutions. The role supports automation, AI, CRM, and analytics initiatives from process analysis through implementation, user adoption, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, workshop facilitation, process documentation, solution deployment, user training, performance monitoring, and recommending enhancements.
