Perform original and copy cataloging of monographs, serials, government publications, and technical reports using OCLC and Ex Libris Alma. Edit and upgrade records to RDA/AACR2/MARC21 standards, assign controlled headings (LCSH, series, corporate authors), update holdings/items and serial patterns, and maintain metrics and reports.

Provide in-person and remote reference and research services, perform systematic literature searches, support collection development and resource selection, participate in collaborative projects and update policies, and perform other duties as assigned to support library operations.

Provide customer-focused IT support for library staff and patrons: troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues; log and track requests; interact with vendors; implement fixes and maintain Windows systems, backups, GPOs, and computer imaging.

Provide reference and research services to NOAA staff: conduct complex literature searches, perform bibliometrics, develop literature reviews and research guides, deliver training and outreach, support interlibrary loan and collection development, track service metrics, and ensure Section 508 and NOAA standards compliance.

Provide expert guidance and operational support for journal evaluation, indexing (AGRICOLA/Alma), open access compliance, research impact indicators, training, analytics reporting, and stakeholder coordination to advance research integrity and public access.

Support receipt, cataloging, evaluation, consolidation, disposition, metadata creation/maintenance, shelving, and physical management of archival holdings (paper, media, tapes, film). Inventory records, prepare transfers, confirm analog-digital matches, coordinate with agency for metadata and publication linkage, and ensure archive security during emergencies.

Manage and improve digital library systems, metadata workflows, and data integrations. Validate APIs, enhance UX and accessibility, develop reporting and automation, and produce documentation and training to support discoverability and interoperability of research outputs.

Serve as project lead to assess, process, arrange, describe, preserve, and manage archival collections. Develop processing plans, create finding aids and metadata, rehouse materials, ensure quality assurance, coordinate with Library of Congress staff, and track/report project progress.
