Onsite contract .NET Developer in Phoenix responsible for analyzing and developing .NET (3.0-4.5) C# applications and T-SQL/SQL Server code (85%), plus unit testing, documentation, and formal code reviews (15%).

Provide onsite technical support for Arizona Department of Education applications: answer phone and email inquiries, deliver one-to-one training, troubleshoot passwords and content issues, log and escalate tickets, and perform related duties while maintaining confidentiality and strong communication with users and IT teams.

Design, document, and maintain enterprise data architecture, models, metadata, and data mappings. Support SQL Server repositories, facilitate data modeling and mapping sessions, define business data definitions, ensure data integrity, and advise application teams during development.

Designs and develops web and desktop applications using VB.NET. Manages full application lifecycle, authors documentation, leads coding efforts, collaborates with business and peers, and ensures timely, high-quality deliveries.

Manage project scope, schedules, resources and stakeholder relationships. Develop communication plans, define success criteria, track milestones, report status/risks, and analyze costs/time/scope to ensure delivery.

Develop and deliver reports using T-SQL, SSRS, and Tableau. Independently write complex stored procedures, analyze schema relationships, and work with users and project leads to gather report specifications.

Administer, design, implement and maintain Oracle databases. Perform installation, configuration, backup/recovery (RMAN), performance tuning, monitoring, patching, capacity planning, security management, scripting, and provide on-call and project support. Interface with developers and Oracle support; maintain documentation and standards.

Test vendor-released enhancements, validate requirements, configure vendor UI, develop C# bridges and ASP.NET integrations, write stored procedures/SQL and XML/XSLT transformations, design reports with Crystal/SSRS, and script/migrate legacy SQL Server data. Communicate with vendor teams and agency staff and support IIS application deployments.

Create DR dependency diagrams in Visio for critical applications, perform backups and "bubble" restores in the DR environment, coordinate with technical owners to verify services, adjust diagrams as needed, and support Server Management Team tasks. Onsite role in Phoenix for local candidates.

Install, test, and deploy IMS, DB2, CICS, z/OS and related maintenance/upgrades. Mentor developers on DBMS best practices, create policies and procedures, interface with vendors/partners, perform research, performance tuning, diagnostics, and provide system programming support for mainframe infrastructure.
