Lead design, implementation, and documentation of controls systems for automated equipment. Mentor and train junior controls engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, support quoting, ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget, perform machine debug/power-up/validation, and document machine changes and issues.

Lead mechanical design, prototyping, testing, and validation of product assemblies from concept through launch. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, manufacturing, and customers, execute validation strategies, perform tolerance/strength analysis, and support proposals and technical decisions. Design, develop, implement, and support machine vision and PLC control systems. Write and debug PLC software, integrate cameras (Keyence/Cognex), create documentation and training, manage projects from specification to startup, and provide global installation and contingency planning support.

Lead automation projects from kickoff through delivery: manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, customer communications, RFQs, issues lists, FAT timing, and post-project lessons learned while coordinating engineers and integrators.

Manage a $3–5M portfolio of 2–3 custom automation projects, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and trades teams. Use internal PM and ERP tools plus Microsoft Project to control scope, schedule, cost, risks, and stakeholder reporting. Attend regular project, business unit, and executive meetings; report to the PMO Manager.

Design, architect, and deploy enterprise Ignition 8.x SCADA solutions (Perspective/Vision/Gateway); develop complex queries and database integrations; lead coding standards, code reviews, and version control; commission systems, run FAT/SAT, troubleshoot production issues, implement HA/DR, and deliver client training; advise on cybersecurity (ISA/IEC 62443) and IT/OT network design.

Lead customer projects from initiation through commissioning and acceptance, coordinating subcontractors, documenting project work, performing inspections and commissioning, conducting customer training, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.

Execute day-to-day purchasing for a manufacturing environment: place and track orders, maintain NetSuite ERP records, align procurement with production schedules, monitor spend and cost, ensure compliance with contracts and approvals, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to support inventory and budget goals.

Serve as an HR Business Partner supporting onsite and global HR functions: payroll and leave administration, HRIS data management (UKG), employee relations, compliance (ISO/OSHA), talent acquisition, compensation, reporting, coaching, and cross-functional HR projects.
