Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies for laboratory diagnostics, equipment, and supplies. Manage tenders, contracts, supplier relationships, performance KPIs, savings targets, demand forecasts, and market-shaping initiatives. Engage manufacturers, donors, governments, procurement agencies, and technical partners to ensure product availability, affordability, quality, innovation, and value for money across health technology categories.

Supports end-to-end procurement of services for Strategic Initiatives, including solicitation preparation, tender administration, evaluation coordination, vendor communication, award documentation, stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, reporting, contract monitoring, and compliance with procurement policies. The role also contributes to process improvements, risk escalation, and performance monitoring across significant services procurement activities.

Leads private-sector resource mobilization for the Global Fund by identifying prospects, securing philanthropic and corporate funding, managing donor relationships, negotiating contributions, monitoring cash flows, and coordinating reporting. Develops thematic funding agendas, oversees partner engagement and risk mitigation, guides portfolio officers, supports donor visits, and coordinates internal stakeholders to deliver fundraising goals.

Supports business process optimization across the grant lifecycle through project planning, process diagnosis and redesign, requirements documentation, systems design, user acceptance testing, change management, and operational execution. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to improve policies, workflows, data quality, reporting, and system solutions. Also supports communications, knowledge transfer, issue resolution, process monitoring, and automation or AI opportunities.

Supports the Global Fund’s corporate strategy and policy framework through strategic analysis, policy development, horizon scanning, stakeholder consultations, and evidence-based recommendations. The role prepares policy papers, briefings, presentations, Board and Committee documents, and organizational responses to audits and evaluations. It also builds relationships across internal and external stakeholders and translates complex global health, financing, and geopolitical developments into strategic implications for senior decision-makers.

Leads the Global Fund’s data, analytics, measurement, modeling, performance reporting, evaluation, and learning functions. Establishes organizational evidence and measurement strategies, oversees resource-allocation modeling and portfolio analytics, strengthens data governance and visualization, and ensures evidence informs investment and management decisions. Provides senior leadership to multidisciplinary teams, advises governance bodies, develops technical capabilities, and promotes responsible use of AI and emerging technologies.

Supports funding requests, grant-making, portfolio optimization, eligibility screening, compliance, and quality assurance. Coordinates TRP and GAC review cycles, prepares agendas, dashboards, investment materials, reports, and board responses, and maintains applicant and governance documentation. The role requires managing multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholder communications, time-sensitive deliverables, and grant review processes in a multicultural international organization.

Leads the Global Fund’s allocation methodology and strategic modelling capability, using quantitative evidence, scenario analysis, and portfolio optimization to guide global health investment decisions. Oversees allocation execution, financial waterfall reporting, quality assurance, responsible AI adoption, and collaboration with technical partners. Advises senior leadership and governance, represents the organization externally, and manages the Allocation & Strategic Modelling team, processes, priorities, and analytical capacity.

Leads components of the Global Fund’s six-year strategy development process through strategic analysis, process design, project management, stakeholder engagement, consensus building, and preparation of decision materials for senior leadership, committees, and the Board. Supports strategy operationalization, policy development, funding model evolution, KPIs, monitoring and evaluation, and organizational change while supervising junior team members.

Supports development and evolution of the Global Fund’s strategy and policies through research, analysis, stakeholder engagement, consultations, and strategic material development. Conducts landscape analyses on global health and development issues, synthesizes evidence and perspectives, prepares senior management and governance materials, and supports strategy operationalization across funding, KPIs, grant lifecycle, and Secretariat priorities.
