Responsible for standard costing, cost variance analysis, labor and overhead rate calculations, inventory reconciliation, job close procedures, transfer pricing, financial reporting, budgeting, and maintaining costing data integrity. The role collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, purchasing, and accounting teams in an office and plant environment.

Maintains employee HR records and compensation and benefits documentation in the HRIS, answers employee HR questions, supports the HR Supervisor with administrative duties, and assists with safety functions at the Tifton facility.

Develops and improves manufacturing methods, processes, and operating procedures for quality, productivity, and waste reduction. Designs and evaluates production trials, analyzes process problems, recommends corrective actions, supports new equipment startup, and prepares performance specifications and SOPs. Reviews work orders and engineering changes, manages complaint responses, reverse engineers products, and modifies products for cost or performance improvements. Collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, quality, production, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies.

Coordinates graphics and printing projects, manages artwork creation, verifies client and design-firm computer files, and supports production of printing plates for film packaging. Collaborates closely with customer service, customers, and operations while planning precise tasks, working under pressure, and maintaining project results.

Calculates and tracks labor, raw material, overhead, inventory, and other operating costs. Analyzes the cost impact of product design, materials, and manufacturing changes; evaluates pricing and productivity factors; prepares ad hoc summaries and variance reports; and implements cost accounting policies, systems, and procedures.

Processes supplier invoices, verifies approvals and receiving documentation, codes invoices, maintains accounts payable files, manages supplier setup and inquiries, reviews aging and unvouchered receipt reports, prepares month-end journal entries, reconciles receipts to the general ledger, and confirms interbranch balances.

Develops and documents manufacturing work methods and processes to improve quality, productivity and reduce waste. Designs and runs experiments, analyzes trials, prepares equipment specs and SOPs, assists with equipment start-up and troubleshooting, manages complaints and corrective actions, and modifies products for cost or performance while following food safety and quality procedures.
