The Flight Dynamics & Control Engineer models hypersonic vehicles' dynamics, develops simulations, validates designs, and collaborates with teams to ensure performance under varying conditions.

Own the architecture and lifecycle engineering of an Electronic Warfare capability, covering electronic support, attack, and protection. Lead requirements, subsystem integration, threat and electromagnetic analyses, modeling, simulation, testing, platform and mission integration, verification, and flight trials. Produce systems engineering documentation, apply MBSE, manage technical risks, and serve as the technical authority across RF, software, hardware, cybersecurity, safety, and platform disciplines.

Manages daily office operations, front-of-house activities, supplies, catering, workplace presentation, deliveries, and vendor coordination. Supports administrative processes, team logistics, documentation, purchasing, invoices, health and safety checks, and employee workplace needs. The role requires a proactive, service-oriented professional who maintains an organized, welcoming, and compliant office environment while improving workplace routines and employee experience.

Supports live defence programmes through analysis, planning, tracking, customer engagement, briefing preparation, and operational execution. The role translates customer requirements, policy context, and programme constraints into actionable inputs; assists programme managers; engages military and government stakeholders; and handles ambiguous, high-ownership tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Support delivery of complex defence programmes by coordinating schedules, workstreams, stakeholders, suppliers, risks, actions, and dependencies. Translate customer and contractual requirements into plans, milestones, presentations, and decisions. Contribute to programme reporting, commercial activities, change control, proposals, and strategic analysis while taking ownership of increasingly complex responsibilities. The role requires strong communication, organisation, bilingual German and English fluency, and comfort operating across technical, commercial, and customer-facing environments.

Design and validate high-power electronic systems for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. Responsibilities include schematic capture, PCB layout, power distribution and protection, DC/DC converters, battery interfaces, thermal analysis, component selection, simulation, prototype testing, fault analysis, hardware debugging, compliance, system integration, and technical documentation.

Design and implement FPGA architectures, real-time DSP algorithms, and high-speed communication interfaces. Optimize timing, resource utilization, and power consumption; develop verification environments and testbenches; integrate FPGA designs with embedded processors and hardware platforms; and debug systems using laboratory and on-chip tools. The role also contributes to system architecture, technical leadership, documentation, and collaboration across hardware and software engineering teams in a hypersonic defense technology environment.

Design and validate digital, mixed-signal, and analog electronics, including schematics, multilayer PCB layouts, power and sensor interfaces, and signal integrity. Perform simulation, verification, EMC/EMI analysis, board bring-up, debugging, qualification, and root cause analysis. Collaborate with FPGA, embedded software, and mechanical teams while preparing design, test, and manufacturing documentation. Support prototype builds and production transfer for mission-critical aerospace and defense hardware.
