Supports accounting, auditing, tax, and financial reporting assignments under professional supervision. Duties include recording transactions, preparing trial balances and financial statements, reconciling accounts, calculating accruals and depreciation, performing audit procedures, preparing tax returns, and compiling audit workpapers and reports. The intern must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, typically in accounting, and meet quality and timing expectations.

Supports account managers with client bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, check runs, journal entries, bank reconciliations, payroll assistance, month-end and quarter-end financial tasks, tax returns, and preparation of 1099s and W-2s. Communicates with vendors, assists with special projects, and works primarily with AgilLink and Microsoft Office. The role may be remote, hybrid, or in-office and requires California residency and seasonal overtime availability.
