Supports federal Risk Management Framework and Assessment and Authorization activities for NIH/OD-OIT. Responsibilities include maintaining security documentation, reviewing security plans and control implementations, assessing system changes, coordinating evidence collection, supporting security assessments, developing POA&Ms, tracking remediation, conducting risk assessments, and supporting continuous monitoring. The role is primarily remote with some TDY and requires extensive federal RMF experience, Security+ and CISA certifications, and eligibility for a federal background investigation or Public Trust determination.

Analyze indicators of compromise and attacker behavior, correlate security and intelligence data, develop detection logic and analytic use cases, map activity to attack frameworks, support incident response, mentor junior analysts, and produce investigation reports and threat-hunting findings.

Provides engineering and technical support for federal SOC capabilities. Responsibilities include maintaining SOC technologies, integrating log sources and security sensors, developing SIEM use cases and SOAR workflows, troubleshooting ingestion and platform issues, improving detection quality, scripting automation, documenting procedures, deploying enhancements, and supporting significant cybersecurity incidents.

Responsibilities include platform integrations, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, health monitoring, automation, documentation, testing, and coordination with SOC, vulnerability management, cloud, infrastructure, and vendor teams. The role is primarily remote with some temporary duty travel and requires federal background investigation, Public Trust determination, or associated clearance eligibility.

Designs, implements, and maintains secure cloud capabilities for federal government systems. Responsibilities include configuring identity, access, logging, monitoring, encryption, and network controls; applying Zero Trust principles; assessing vulnerabilities and misconfigurations; supporting remediation, automation, compliance validation, enterprise security integrations, and authorization activities.

Designs, operates, secures, and maintains enterprise networks supporting classified environments, including SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS. Configures Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and ISE; ensures DISA STIG compliance; supports cross-domain connectivity, cloud security architecture, RMF documentation, and network risk mitigation. Collaborates with cybersecurity stakeholders, troubleshoots network issues, and mentors NOC staff and junior engineers.
