Designs and delivers faculty development and support for technology-enhanced teaching and learning. Provides Canvas help-desk assistance, trains faculty and teaching assistants, develops instructional technology tutorials and documentation, and consults on technology integration in residential and online classrooms. Coordinates with university departments, recruits educational technology leaders for professional development events, maintains web resources, and oversees event video production and editing.

Manages the School of Aeronautics’ daily fiscal operations, including procurement transactions, budget monitoring, account reconciliation, purchasing card review, aircraft fleet expense tracking, invoice coordination, financial reporting, compliance, and discrepancy resolution. Provides guidance to faculty and staff on budgeting and procurement processes while supporting flight operations and maintaining accurate financial records.

Directs the School of Aeronautics safety program across flight, simulator, maintenance, and UAS operations. Establishes and maintains the safety management system, promotes safety culture, ensures FAA, NTSB, and OSHA compliance, manages safety reporting and FOQA, oversees emergency response and accident investigations, conducts risk assessments, supports audits, and provides executive-level safety analysis. Supervises safety personnel and maintains flight currency to assess operational safety.

Supports affiliate and student account management, compliance tracking, training lesson audits, and electronic file maintenance. Communicates with flight training affiliates and students by phone and email, responds to inquiries, provides customer service, and assists with department projects and daily operations. This remote, part-time role requires 10–20 hours weekly, strong organization and communication skills, computer proficiency, and occasional limited travel.

Coordinates practicum and clinical placements for graduate and doctoral nursing programs. Supports students and preceptors, verifies credentials and compliance requirements, administers placement databases, tracks practicum hours, maintains spreadsheets, generates reports, supports contracts and onboarding, and assists with special projects. The role is primarily onsite and requires occasional travel to placement sites, along with a valid Virginia driver’s license and personal or university vehicle use.

Develop and execute creative assets across live events, digital platforms, and print for OSD. Manage multiple projects, timelines, and briefs; collaborate cross-discipline, integrate feedback, and maintain brand and audience-first standards. Contribute to team ideation, uphold team values, and submit a portfolio for consideration.

The Boiler-Chiller Tech II troubleshoots and repairs Boiler-Chiller equipment, assists in installations, and conducts maintenance on HVAC systems while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Conduct and manage investigations of discrimination, harassment, and sexual misconduct under Title IX and other laws; create investigative plans, interview parties and witnesses, gather evidence, write reports, make credibility determinations, maintain records and confidentiality, communicate with stakeholders, provide training, and ensure compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements.

Provide administrative and operational support to the Helms School of Government: manage scheduling, travel and event coordination, purchasing and P-card reconciliation, departmental communications and email, faculty support, Workday hiring backup, and maintain department workflows and compliance with university policies.

Lead IT projects through the full lifecycle, maintain WBS and planning artifacts, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and schedules, deliver status updates, build stakeholder communications, and support roadmap and resource planning. May supervise a small team.
