Leads complex strategic advisory projects supporting executive decision-making and university-wide transformation. Responsibilities include developing strategic proposals and business cases, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, facilitating stakeholder workshops, defining project scopes and success measures, and managing advisory workstreams, risks, dependencies, timelines, and outcomes. The role requires extensive consulting or strategic advisory experience, executive communication skills, advanced problem-solving ability, and capability to deliver complex projects in large organisations.

Lead and manage the exam timetabling and data analytics team to produce and quality-assure exam schedules, build analytics and dashboards for forecasting and capacity planning, integrate timetabling with student systems, support alternative exam and digital delivery arrangements, and contribute to planning large-scale graduations and commencement events.

Support high-impact international partnerships (India & South Asia) through intelligence briefs, market analysis, business cases, regional strategy support, partnership development, business development for education programs, and coordination of visits, delegations, events and stakeholder engagement.

Develop and customise a cross-collection search portal using Ruby on Rails and Blacklight. Integrate with Apache Solr and a DAM platform, implement metadata ingestion, natural language search, visual exploration and recommendations, contribute to architecture, CI/CD, Agile backlog and sprint work, and support secure, scalable deployments and monitoring.

Lead and deliver Indigenous graduate research strategy, programs and flagship events to support Indigenous PhD candidates in health. Build partnerships, secure funding, provide academic support, and advise leadership to strengthen doctoral pathways and Indigenous research leadership.

Lead and mentor a research finance partnering team across faculties and institutes. Develop strategic finance frameworks, oversee planning, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting, advise on funding proposals and compliance, identify sector trends, drive improvement projects, and champion data-driven approaches to ensure financial sustainability and support executive decision-making.

Design, build and maintain secure databases and data lakes; develop software to link pathogen, immune, clinical and epidemiological data; implement data integration and sharing workflows for AI/ML; liaise with governance and stakeholders; contribute to grants, presentations and supervision to support pandemic therapeutics research.

Lead institutional readiness for Horizon Europe Pillar II by translating EU funding frameworks into strategy, building researcher capability, developing proposal pipelines, coordinating complex pre-award activity, identifying readiness gaps, and implementing tools and guidance to support compliant international consortia participation.
