Leads platform engineering and DevOps strategy for a regulated lending platform. Responsibilities include cloud architecture, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, identity and security, compliance, reliability, incident management, developer tooling, and AI/ML infrastructure. This senior individual contributor mentors engineers, shapes technical roadmaps, drives GitOps and self-service platforms, and supports model serving, observability, and AI-assisted engineering practices.

Build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, security controls, observability, and developer tooling for a regulated lending platform. Support infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, incident response, reliability, compliance, and cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Integrate AI-assisted engineering tools and support ML/AI workloads, including model serving and inference monitoring. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to platform architecture and technical roadmaps.

Coordinates with Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Security, Legal, and Compliance teams. Maintains procurement records, contracts, and renewals; supports audits, reporting, vendor spend tracking, internal controls, and workflow improvements.

Develops and manages credit training programs, competency frameworks, curricula, completion tracking, and succession planning across SBA, commercial, and specialty lending products. Provides senior credit administration support by reviewing complex loans, enforcing underwriting and risk-rating standards, identifying problem credits, improving documentation and eligibility processes, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with Credit, Training, Compliance, Quality Control, IT, Sales, and Operations teams to strengthen lending quality, workflow, and portfolio performance.

Build and lead the finance function for a newly formed annuity carrier. Responsibilities include establishing statutory accounting infrastructure, integrating NetSuite with Equisoft, managing purchase accounting, producing NAIC filings, coordinating reserves and RBC calculations, overseeing investment and reinsurance accounting, managing budgets, taxes, controls, cash, audits, and regulatory reporting, and eventually building the internal finance organization.

Support design, delivery, and continuous improvement of a business lending platform. Own specific product modules across the loan lifecycle, gather requirements, write user stories, manage sprints in Jira, coordinate testing and vendor integrations, and use data to monitor KPIs, adoption, and product improvements while ensuring compliance and cross-functional alignment.

Lead day-to-day operations for LIFT, implement Equisoft and NetSuite, manage outsourcing partner, develop and execute operational strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, set KPIs, manage budgets and vendors, and build high-performing teams.

The GRC & Incident Manager leads governance, risk, compliance, and data privacy programs while managing incidents and aligning with regulatory requirements across IT and vendors.

Support accurate, timely closing and funding of SBA and government-guaranteed small business loans by preparing and reviewing closing documents, validating SBA eligibility and collateral, coordinating borrowers and internal teams, resolving documentation deficiencies, maintaining loan files and systems, monitoring pipeline timelines, and ensuring compliance with SBA regulations.

Maintain company financials including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close tasks.
