Conduct research to develop general robotic manipulation systems for household and manufacturing use. Develop robotic foundation models integrating vision-language-action models with online reinforcement learning, design efficient data-sampling policies to reduce RL data demand, and build a mobile bimanual manipulation system for diverse real-world tasks.

Provide IT infrastructure and end-user support for the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB). Support digital learning operations: prepare and update course sites and resources, run pre-session checks, perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues, format and upload content, execute test cases, maintain guides/checklists/trackers, respond to routine user enquiries, and coordinate follow-ups with faculty, colleagues and vendors.

Provide administrative support for pre-award and post-award research grant processes: document collation, tracking, routing for approvals and submissions, maintaining grant records and trackers, and liaising with faculty and internal offices to follow up on pending items.

Lead NEC IT operations and integrations during refurbishment and reopening. Oversee PMS/POS/CRS, networking, servers, backups, cybersecurity, vendor/contracts, user support/training, IT projects, budgeting, and asset management to ensure uptime, compliance, and smooth event operations.

Design, develop, and evaluate AI-driven solutions for sustainable living. Collect and preprocess multimodal datasets, build data pipelines and experiments, analyze model performance, iterate on models, and collaborate on publications, reports, and demonstrations.
