Provide research administration and centre-level operational support: manage grant and project records, process claims and invoicing, operate grant management systems, handle facility workflows, procurement, reimbursements, events, publicity, and general office administration.

Provide end-to-end HR administrative support including recruitment (job postings, resume screening, interviews, employment contracts), onboarding and offboarding coordination, Workday transactional tasks, benefits and contract renewals, personnel records and HR reporting, employee engagement and HR events, and ad-hoc HR duties to ensure smooth HR operations and positive employee experiences.

Develop autonomous navigation, planning, and separation-assurance algorithms for multirotor operations around vessels. Integrate prediction, decision-making, control, and Vessel Protected Volume models in simulation frameworks; design optimisation and ML methods for conflict detection, collision avoidance, and capacity estimation; run simulation experiments, validation studies, and work with students and industry partners to support integration, testing, and dissemination.

Provide executive administrative support to the Centre Director, manage daily operations, office IT and assets, coordinate events and communications, maintain website content, and support faculty, staff, and students.

Lead and expand international partnerships and student mobility programmes by setting strategy, negotiating agreements, designing short-term overseas programmes, driving branding and recruitment, improving processes with AI/RPA, ensuring compliance, managing crises, enhancing data quality, and producing reports to support senior leadership.

Perform independent research analyzing high-dimensional neural data; develop and apply machine learning, computer vision, and dynamical-systems models; maintain lab software, contribute to grants, presentations, and manuscripts, and present at lab meetings.

Support numerical simulation research into underground blast-induced progressive collapse of multi-storey reinforced concrete structures. Develop, verify, and validate FEM/DEM models, perform parametric and sensitivity studies, benchmark commercial software, assess structural vulnerability, and contribute to an integrated FEMFAN3D-DEM computational framework. Prepare reports, publications, and collaborate with investigators and stakeholders.

Teach one or more MSc courses in the Applied Cryptography program, delivering lectures and tutorials (at least 3.5 hours/week) over a 13-week term. Responsibilities include syllabus planning, class preparation, assessment marking, and student consultations. Preference for candidates with graduate-level teaching experience and experience with online instruction.

Support digital learning operations: prepare and update course sites and resources, run pre-session checks, perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues, format and upload content, execute test cases, maintain guides/checklists/trackers, respond to routine user enquiries, and coordinate follow-ups with faculty, colleagues and vendors.

Provide administrative support for pre-award and post-award research grant processes: document collation, tracking, routing for approvals and submissions, maintaining grant records and trackers, and liaising with faculty and internal offices to follow up on pending items.
