Supports the design, integration, testing, certification, and sustainment of specialized aircraft and mission systems. Defines and manages system requirements, develops architectures and interfaces, coordinates multidisciplinary engineering teams, and performs verification, validation, traceability, technical documentation, and engineering analyses. The role supports defense and government aviation programs while ensuring compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and certification processes.

Leads aircraft electrical and mission-system integration across proposal and active program phases. Develops schematics, wiring diagrams, requirements, interface documents, load analyses, test plans, compliance reports, and system descriptions. Reviews installation and test data, analyzes ground and flight performance, supports component selection and change management, troubleshoots supplier and aircraft build issues, and participates in design reviews. Develops and reviews aircraft structural and systems installation layouts, 3D models, and 2D drawings. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and operations to resolve design and production issues, support design reviews, assess risks, and meet program milestones.

Provide propulsion systems engineering support across defense aircraft programs, from proposals through development, certification, and in-service support. Develop trade studies, requirements, scopes of work, supplier statements, and technical presentations. Support system integration, certification documentation, supplier governance, verification-plan reviews, and implementation of system installations and modifications. Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers while applying expertise in powerplant, APU, FIDEEX, fuel, and FTIS systems.

Perform structural stress analysis using hand calculations and finite element methods for metallic and non-metallic aircraft structures. Prepare certification documentation, support design reviews, assess static strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance, and review structural modifications. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, certifying authorities, and cross-functional teams. Support aircraft design from concept through detailed design and perform Material Review Board duties as needed.

Designs and integrates aircraft system installations, including 3D layouts, equipment placement, routing, supports, assemblies, and technical drawings. Defines physical interfaces, clearances, access, and fastening solutions while optimizing safety, maintainability, manufacturability, weight, and cost. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages engineering changes in PLM, resolves production and flight-test issues, supports certification, leads complex investigations, approves technical solutions, and mentors engineers.

Develops aircraft system designs, modifications, requirements, schematics, certification plans, test plans, and compliance documentation. Supports requirements management, verification and validation, design reviews, safety processes, supplier management, change management, and analysis of ground and flight test data. Ensures compliance with FAA, TCCA, and EASA Part 25 standards while coordinating engineering activities and technical subcontractors.

Conduct damage tolerance and fatigue analyses for primary aircraft structural elements. Recommend structural design and repair concepts, develop fatigue spectra, validate analyses experimentally, review supplier work, support maintenance manual development, and prepare certification reports. The role requires collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams, plus expertise in aircraft structural certification and metallic structures.

Performs aerospace loads, dynamics, aeroelasticity, aeroservoelasticity, flutter, gust-load, and dynamic-landing analyses using Siemens and MSC NASTRAN. Validates results, compares solver outputs, updates DMAP workflows, supports methodology migration, prepares technical documentation, and transfers knowledge to engineering teams. Requires aerospace or mechanical engineering education, 5+ years of relevant experience, NASTRAN expertise, structural dynamics knowledge, and MATLAB or Python proficiency.

Supports strategic technology and digital transformation projects by planning engineering activities, resolving cross-disciplinary issues, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with partners and suppliers, and providing management visibility. The role requires an engineering bachelor’s degree, 5–8 years of aerospace experience, project management capability, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and fluency in French and English.
