Own spacecraft power units from requirements through design, supplier management, verification, and acceptance. Design power electronics boards involving switching, protection, current limiting, conversion, interfaces, and fault handling. Perform part selection, schematic capture, worst-case and derating analysis, board bring-up, testing, and debugging. Manage supplier specifications and design reviews, support spacecraft electrical integration, and contribute to power budgets, grounding, EMI/EMC, and system architecture trades for a 15-year GEO mission.

Owns the spacecraft product assurance program as its mission assurance technical authority. Responsibilities include PA planning, qualification readiness and review boards, supplier assurance flow-down, reliability engineering, EEE parts control, derating, destructive physical analysis, and safety hazard analyses for hazardous systems, pressure systems, ordnance, and batteries. The role works across engineering, suppliers, leadership, and customer assurance organizations to ensure the spacecraft is built and qualified to required standards.

Own and build cost accounting for a complex hardware manufacturer, including standard costing, inventory valuation, WIP, month-end close, manufacturing variances, and program cost tracking. Support ASC 606 revenue recognition, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, unit economics, cash planning, and investor reporting. Manage NetSuite cost and inventory modules while partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement to create scalable, audit-ready processes.

Design and develop RF printed circuit payloads for satellite communications focusing on amplifiers, filters, transmission lines, and PCB-to-waveguide transitions. Build, test, iterate hardware, participate in design reviews, and apply best practices using tools like HFSS and Keysight ADS.

Lead end-to-end propulsion subsystem for a full-EP GEO spacecraft: define architecture, select suppliers, release long-lead procurements, specify and oversee propulsion testing and GSE, own EOR/station-keeping delta-V strategy, correlate in-orbit performance to models, and coordinate with Structures, GNC, Power, Systems, AIT, and mission ops.

Lead integration and verification for a satellite communications program. Own FlatSat architecture, AIT campaign flow, hardware/software integration, EGSE strategy, and verification. Perform early bench work, coordinate technicians and interns, and support launch-site activities including shipment, fueling, final integration, and range-side spacecraft operations.

Lead mechanical design, analysis, and validation of spacecraft structures, mechanisms, and thermal hardware. Perform FEA and tolerance analysis, develop CAD models and drawings, support prototyping, integration, and environmental testing (vibration, thermal, deployment), participate in design reviews, and mitigate technical risks through hands-on builds and test data collection.

Provide high-level executive support to the CEO (calendar, travel, email, meeting materials, expense reporting), coordinate leadership and board logistics, track action items, manage day-to-day office operations, vendor and facilities coordination, support onboarding/offboarding, plan events, and improve office processes while handling confidential information.

Design, build, and integrate test fixtures, tooling, and support hardware for spacecraft structures and mechanisms. Plan and support functional, environmental, and qualification tests (thermal, vibration, shock, deployment, pressure). Lead test readiness, schedules, safe operations, and develop infrastructure and roadmaps to execute spacecraft qualification.
