Develops SGS’s client base by prospecting, presenting certification services, negotiating with clients, closing sales, managing accounts, preparing sales reports, and communicating client needs. Supports sales and marketing planning through market information, ensures compliance with company policies and quality standards, and follows health, safety, environmental, and energy procedures.

Manage metallurgical projects including testwork programs, due diligence, and study management. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining strong communication with lead metallurgists. Own project data management, documentation, collation, and interpretation throughout delivery. The role requires metallurgical or process engineering education, commodity and unit-operation knowledge, planning and project management skills, laboratory exposure, and some operational site experience.

Assists metallurgists and project managers with laboratory testing, sample preparation, pilot plant operations, metallurgical data analysis, report preparation, test scheduling, and small project coordination. Supports grinding, flotation, gold processing, and hydrometallurgy work, directs technicians, verifies results, and may travel to other laboratories for assignments.

Execute risk-based internal audits covering operational, financial, and compliance areas. Plan assignments, test controls, perform walkthroughs and substantive testing, identify risks and weaknesses, analyze root causes, prepare audit findings and reports, communicate recommendations, escalate significant issues, and improve audit practices. The role requires collaboration with management, adherence to internal audit standards, and approximately 20% local and regional travel.

Provides Level 2 technical support across multiple SGS locations and contracts. Resolves escalated incidents involving Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Windows systems, networks, hardware, software, and security. Manages users, infrastructure monitoring, asset upgrades, installations, ticket prioritization, and third-level escalations. The role includes remote and on-site support, documentation, vendor coordination, service-level monitoring, and occasional travel or out-of-hours work.

Identifies and orders supplies and services, evaluates vendors, groups orders to optimize costs, and enters purchase orders into the procurement system. Supports purchase order creation and distribution, verifies documentation, monitors order status, escalates delays, and records shipment information for payment processing. The role also requires compliance with company integrity, quality, health, safety, environmental, and HR policies.

Conduct technical reviews and quality assessments for explosive-atmosphere certification projects. Perform QAN/QAR audits against IECEx, ATEX, ISO, and related standards; review documentation, prepare audit materials and reports, evaluate corrective actions, issue certificates, and maintain audit traceability. Support certification decisions, external accreditation audits, surveillance inspections, continuous improvement, and communication with international teams and clients. The role requires specialized hazardous-location conformity assessment expertise and up to 30% travel, including international travel.

Independently drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial and government contracts, including supplier, customer, real estate, software, insurance, and cross-border agreements. Advises business leaders on deal structure, risk, compliance, contract interpretation, and disputes. Develops contract templates, playbooks, negotiation guidance, and training; researches regulatory matters; supports acquisitions; and serves as an escalation point for paralegals.

Provides technical support for laboratory projects, coordinating with project managers, laboratory personnel, vendors, and clients. Develops and improves laboratory methods, testing programs, procedures, and systems while monitoring reports, certificates, invoices, deadlines, and client communications. Supports business development through proposals, scopes of work, and client presentations. Provides technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to laboratory staff, maintains client and vendor relationships, and may travel to SGS or client locations.

Manage multiple international customer projects from initiation through closure, overseeing scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, milestones, reporting, quality, and customer expectations. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate closely with Lead Evaluators to align project execution with technical activities and security evaluation requirements. Serve as the primary operational contact for customers and stakeholders while supporting improvements to project management processes.
