Leads complex roadway and highway design projects for the Oregon Department of Transportation. Directs multidisciplinary engineering reviews, coordinates design decisions across technical units, approves construction-ready plans, specifications and estimates, and serves as the registered engineer of record. Provides technical leadership, mentoring and training to engineers and specialists. The role combines office and field work near traffic and construction equipment, with occasional overnight travel, overtime and weekend or evening work.

Preside over a variety of court matters (preliminary criminal proceedings, misdemeanors, traffic, small claims, landlord/tenant, mental health commitments), examine evidence and testimony, rule on subpoenas and admissibility, make findings of fact and conclusions of law, impose fines/sentences, review mail pleas, and perform other assigned judicial duties.

Provide administrative support for the statewide Ignition Interlock Device (IID) Oversight Program: manage registrations, licensing, fee collection, program procedures, vendor and installer licensing processes, coordinate with OSP staff and external stakeholders, assist with OAR/ORS monitoring, and advise on compliance and registration issues.

Process court set-asides, motions, and orders to accurately enter and maintain Computerized Criminal History (CCH) records. Interact frequently with the public and criminal justice partners, interpret court documents, maintain CJIS/CCH data, and collaborate within the CJIS division. Requires organization, attention to detail, and knowledge of the set-aside process.

Lead design, administration, tuning, and governance of enterprise databases (DB2, MS SQL Server, Oracle). Develop data models, manage migrations, backups, recovery, and security, coordinate upgrades, support integrations for reporting and analytics, and train staff while ensuring compliance and high availability.
