Develop and operate hardware-in-the-loop and real-time simulation systems for energy storage and power conversion products. Build real-time models, integrate controllers and firmware, execute functional and fault test campaigns, automate testing and reporting, investigate failures, and support root-cause analysis. The role requires hands-on laboratory work with power electronics, controls, data acquisition, industrial protocols, and test documentation.

Maintain corporate records and entity governance for US and LATAM entities; coordinate contract signatures, repositories, deadlines, and document numbering; administer SharePoint records, legal intake workflows, reporting, retention, and legal holds; and support Finance, Tax, Insurance, Risk, Sales Engineering, Project Management, and Supply Chain with legal documentation and compliance materials.

Build and operate production AI systems from prototype through deployment and monitoring. Translate business workflows into reliable LLM-powered tools, develop prompts, retrieval logic, evaluation harnesses, and integrations, and establish governance and deployment patterns. Evaluate vendors and AI platforms, contribute to the technical roadmap, and partner with stakeholders across the company. The role requires enterprise-aware engineering, clear communication, comfort with ambiguity, and in-office work in Houston at least three days weekly.

The Controls Engineer deploys and configures control systems for Battery Energy Storage projects, supports commissioning, troubleshoots PLC logic, and collaborates with various engineering teams.

Designs and operates AWS cloud security foundations across multi-account environments, including guardrails, centralized logging, IAM, and infrastructure-as-code controls. Secures hybrid connectivity between AWS and plants, BESS sites, and remote assets through segmentation, VPNs, firewalls, and identity controls. Builds threat detection and response using AWS security services, manages vulnerability prioritization and remediation SLAs, and establishes security review gates, runbooks, access reviews, and exception processes. The role also partners with OT security owners and supports compliance-driven, mission-critical infrastructure.

Owns the cybersecurity architecture, tooling, monitoring, identity, access, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance assurance for OT/ICS environments supporting grid-connected energy assets. Designs IEC 62443-aligned segmentation, manages industrial IDS and asset inventories, defines SCADA and controller security requirements, oversees PKI and remote access, validates site acceptance evidence, and supports NERC CIP and utility security reviews.
