The Manufacturing Engineer will apply Lean Manufacturing methodologies, improve efficiency, and collaborate with teams to support manufacturing and assembly operations.

Support installation, testing, and maintenance of software and electronics for precision-agriculture equipment. Perform field tests, troubleshoot machines, assemble and maintain wire harnesses, manage connector inventory, and generate software and test reports for factory and warranty investigations.

Requires onsite presence in greater Chicago, limited domestic travel (~10%), and international training travel.

Design and validate operator experiences for off-highway equipment by applying human factors, ergonomics, and user-centered design. Develop requirements, prototypes, user flows, and UX artifacts; run user research and usability validation; collaborate with engineering, product management, and development to improve displays, controls, and in-cab systems across machine platforms.

Design, integrate, and maintain SIL/HIL/XIL test systems for perception and automation. Configure dSPACE-based platforms, integrate cameras, CAN/Ethernet and ECUs, develop Python automation, maintain Linux test systems, debug hardware/software/embedded issues, support recorded-data playback and CI/CD automated testing, and collaborate across engineering teams to improve test infrastructure.
