The Account Executive will sell factoring and financial services to small fleets, focusing on customer growth, account management, and sales pipeline management.

Provide logistics support including order entry, routing and dispatching, traffic coordination, monitoring pickups/deliveries, communicating status to account managers/customers, investigating load issues, scheduling appointments, and routing drivers.

Manage daily operations for dedicated less-than-truckload accounts by tracking shipments, coordinating carriers, classifying freight, preparing pricing and quotes, resolving delays or discrepancies, and maintaining customer and carrier relationships. The role ensures loads are properly covered and serviced, supports profitability through carrier and service-level selection, and identifies opportunities for customer-specific pricing.

Generate new sales revenue and identify business opportunities across North America. Prospect and cold call to build pipeline, create quotes and proposals, negotiate pricing and services, nurture and grow accounts, and maintain accurate records in company systems.

The role supports sales and carrier operations, monitors account activity, prioritizes daily workloads, and communicates shipment, billing, and follow-up issues. Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are required.

Leads strategic projects supporting intermodal and drayage operations, including process improvements, customer implementations, technology enhancements, network optimization, and operational readiness. Develops project plans, analyzes performance data, manages stakeholders, coordinates carriers and terminals, tracks risks and milestones, and delivers business cases and customer-facing updates. Requires transportation or logistics experience, project management skills, analytical ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Manages relationships with key transportation clients, serves as their primary liaison, expands accounts, negotiates sales terms, identifies carriers and specialized equipment, maintains a book of business, updates sales and shipment reporting systems, and monitors billing accuracy.

Manages relationships with RXO’s key brokerage clients, serving as their primary contact and advocate. Responsibilities include expanding accounts, developing repeat business, negotiating rates and sales terms, securing carriers and specialized equipment, maintaining shipment and brand integrity, updating tracking and sales systems, and monitoring billing accuracy. Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least one year of professional experience; transportation sales experience is preferred.

Support customer quality metrics by monitoring and evaluating third-party carrier performance, maintaining databases and scorecards, preparing reports and presentations, developing reporting tools, creating standardized work procedures, liaising with carriers/customers on claims, driving continuous improvement and cost savings, and traveling (~10%) to support root cause and corrective action activities.
