Review daily samples of mortgage applications pre- and post-funding for compliance with underwriting standards and regulations. Assess documents and data, identify fraud or suspicious activity, conduct preliminary investigations, prepare QA reports, support audits, manage approved vendor/AML lists, perform regular QA/QC reviews, and advise underwriting on credit and risk mitigation.

Coordinate Montreal and Quebec transaction pipelines from mandate to archiving, manage closings with borrowers/lenders/legal teams, ensure AML/FINTRAC/KYC and AMF compliance, maintain data integrity in Orbit, streamline workflows and templates, support regional marketing and events, and manage departmental finance and administrative tasks.

Drive regional mortgage originations by building and managing broker relationships, structuring complex residential files, providing on-site support and training, collaborating with underwriting and risk teams, and owning territory funding targets to grow market share.
