As a Forward Deployed Legal Engineer, you will optimize client relationships by demonstrating AI solutions for legal workflows, and work with engineering and business teams for product improvements.

Provide AI-augmented review, drafting, negotiation, and execution of NDAs for institutional clients. Advise on NDA playbooks and market standards, collaborate with partners, clients, and tech teams to streamline workflows using AI agents.

Provide broad in-house legal support across corporate, commercial, employment, IP, and data privacy/security for Norm Ai and affiliated Norm Law. Draft and review agreements, manage governance and equity administration, support HR and IP matters, build legal infrastructure (templates, workflows, matter tracking), coordinate with outside counsel, and operationalize go-to-market legal processes. Act as a trusted generalist to advise leadership and systematize legal operations.

Provide transactional fund formation and investor-documentation support using AI agents to draft, compare, and negotiate LP agreements, subscription documents, side letters, and compliance materials. Coordinate with compliance and tech teams to ensure SEC, CFTC, and ERISA alignment, capture institutional knowledge, benchmark investor terms, and lead AI-augmented workflows to improve speed and quality across fund matters.

Provide high-impact executive support to up to four Partners: manage complex calendars, communications, meetings, travel, and office operations. Draft communications, coordinate events, capture meeting minutes, and improve processes while handling confidential information and using AI tools.

Provide private equity transaction support using AI-augmented workflows: draft and review documents, perform diligence, manage deal execution, advise clients, and collaborate with technology teams to streamline processes.

Design, build, and ship enterprise-grade AI agents and LLM-backed workflows for legal workflows. Implement retrieval, memory, evaluation, benchmarking, and feedback loops; work with production systems, data collection, and cross-functional teams to improve platform performance and compliance.

Build and maintain full-stack features for an AI-driven legal product. Work across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python/FastAPI, Postgres), collaborate with design, platform, and AI teams, and implement document and integration pipelines for enterprise workflows.

Manage and grow a platform engineering team that builds shared systems and infrastructure. Hire, coach, and develop engineers; run interview loops; align priorities across workstreams; improve team operations and delivery; apply AI to improve developer productivity; and take on targeted technical work to ensure reliable, high-quality platform outcomes.

Own full-cycle recruiting for attorneys at all levels: source, screen, coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and onboard. Partner with firm leadership to define needs, build sourcing strategies for lateral partners and associates, manage search firms, scale recruiting processes, track pipeline metrics, and shape employer brand and candidate experience in a high-growth, AI-forward law firm.
