The Strategy and Operations Manager (Product) will lead the evolution of Checkatrade's advertising strategy, translating it into actionable products while collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing data for decision-making and driving growth.

Own multi-year product vision and roadmap for a UK home-services marketplace. Lead and grow PM teams, prioritise commercial and platform investments, integrate AI/ML across product (search, matching, personalisation, automation), partner cross-functionally, and represent product to the board and investors to drive revenue, retention, and growth.

Lead end-to-end SME acquisition strategy across paid channels, retargeting and database activation. Track CAC, lead quality, sign-ups and sales handoff, run rapid test-and-learn experiments, partner with Product and Sales to improve conversion and build product-led growth, and use AI for analysis and creative.

Lead analytics, ensure metric integrity, validate AI-generated analysis, design and interpret A/B tests, diagnose drivers of commercial performance, turn insights into prioritized actions, and build dashboards and self-serve tools to enable stakeholders.

Lead and build Checkatrade's AI Services business end-to-end: define strategy and roadmap, own P&L, identify AI-driven revenue opportunities, partner with product/engineering/data, recruit and lead cross-functional teams, manage third-party AI partners, and embed AI across the organisation while overseeing regulatory and ethical considerations.

The Trade Growth Lead manages the growth funnel, driving self-serve trade sign-ups, leading experimental programs, collaborating cross-functionally, and utilizing AI tools to enhance user experiences and operational efficiency.

Own and grow commercial partnerships and pipeline, close £100k+ deals, drive advertising and sponsorship revenue across channels and products, collaborate with marketing/product/social teams, and shape partnerships strategy to unlock new revenue for a home improvement marketplace.
