Leads Sunbird’s global pre-sales engineering organization, including team development, recruiting, resource planning, technical sales execution, discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, and sales-to-services handoffs. Partners with Sales, Product, Services, and Support to improve technical win rates, POC conversion, customer outcomes, and execution consistency. The role manages strategic opportunities, enables sales teams, governs technical evaluations, and translates customer and competitive insights into actionable product feedback.

Participates in cross-functional technology projects involving DCIM, software testing, documentation, data analysis, process improvement, automation, and software configuration. The intern researches solutions, completes assigned project tasks, maintains reports and documentation, collaborates with multiple departments, provides status updates, and presents findings. The role offers exposure to enterprise software, data center infrastructure management, business processes, and project coordination while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Supports delivery of virtual and in-person training for internal teams and customers. Responsibilities include presenting established curricula, updating training materials, organizing sessions, maintaining records, collecting feedback, collaborating on product updates, and developing software and instructional knowledge.

Maintain and improve on-premises and cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, virtualization, containers, backups, disaster recovery, identity integrations, networking, patching, and deployment automation. Collaborate with software engineering teams on reliability, observability, security, scalability, and operational readiness. Maintain infrastructure scripts and documentation, evaluate tooling improvements, and provide occasional after-hours support for critical systems.

Engages, qualifies, and nurtures inbound and outbound leads across a U.S. territory. The role conducts prospecting, product demonstrations, CRM management, quoting through channel partners, and sales pipeline support. It collaborates with sales, marketing, and customer success teams while maintaining product and market knowledge, building client relationships, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging to generate qualified sales opportunities. Identify enterprise decision-makers, communicate SaaS value propositions, qualify leads, handle objections, book discovery meetings, and maintain accurate outreach and account records in HubSpot.

Supports presales engagements through technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concept execution, RFP responses, CRM updates, and documentation. Works under senior Sales Engineer mentorship while developing consultative selling skills and technical expertise. Maintains demo environments and supports sales teams with technical questions. The remote role requires U.S. residency and travel of approximately 15–20%.

Develop a mobile-first extension of an Angular enterprise DCIM platform for iOS and Android using Capacitor. Responsibilities include building mobile workflows, integrating native device capabilities, implementing offline persistence and synchronization, connecting APIs and authentication, managing builds and releases, establishing CI/CD standards, and publishing applications through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Integrates customer software and data center infrastructure with Sunbird DCIM software using REST APIs. Develops and debugs Python automation and data-processing code, transforms and migrates customer data, troubleshoots integrations, and uses SQL, GitHub, API documentation, and command-line tools. Provides technical customer support and project coordination while working with changing priorities. Flexible hours and travel up to 10% may be required.

Coordinates DCIM software support by triaging tickets, investigating escalations, diagnosing defects, documenting troubleshooting paths, testing solutions, assisting deployments, and serving as a liaison among engineering, technical support, client services, and customers. The role also identifies issue trends, develops solution proposals and project plans under supervision, conducts customer ticket reviews, and supports continuous process and technical improvement.
