Performs Quality of Earnings and financial due diligence engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions. Responsibilities include assessing EBITDA sustainability, assets, working capital, and transaction risks; building three-statement and LBO models; supporting LOI analysis, deal structuring, diligence, and integration; managing data rooms; coordinating advisors; preparing forecasts, budgets, variance analyses, and stakeholder reports; and conducting market research and valuation benchmarking.

The AI Solutions Manager leads client engagements focused on AI and automation, managing project lifecycles, optimizing internal processes, and integrating AI tools. They also provide training and performance monitoring.

Lead month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and management reporting. Manage GST/HST filings, payroll remittances, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, DEXT receipt workflows, and maintain QuickBooks Online integration with Karbon. Support year-end audits, implement process improvements, and provide ad hoc financial analysis.

Design and build AI-powered internal accounting tools and integrations. Own architecture, security, and code quality; translate accounting processes into production-grade backend systems; collaborate with product and accounting staff; document systems and scale tools responsibly.

Prepare draft quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A, support IPO planning and prospectus prep, research and recommend accounting policies, assist with ERP implementation, cost accounting, budgeting, projections, and client valuations while managing multiple public-company client files.

Provide hands-on executive support including calendar management, scheduling, and day-to-day assistance; coordinate recruiting, candidate communications, and onboarding; maintain internal documentation; manage office operations and events; and handle ad-hoc tasks to keep leadership and the team organized and moving efficiently.

Manage the public-company reporting cycle for high-growth clients, ensuring compliance and strategic guidance through financial statement preparation and analysis.
