Provide administrative support to Partners, Directors and Business Services team: manage diaries, correspondence, prepare client engagement documents, coordinate onboarding, billing and ASIC/ATO lodgements, arrange travel and events, maintain client systems, improve processes, format and quality-review documents, and lead a small client services team.

Lead design and implementation of a firm-wide client and engagement acceptance framework. Partner with stakeholders to identify non-technical capability needs and design capability frameworks, learning pathways, and blended programs. Engage SMEs, oversee learner experience, monitor engagement and outcomes, and provide insights and reporting to inform investment and improvement.

Lead BDO Australia's national learning strategy, design and deliver capability pathways, govern L&D processes and reporting, advise senior stakeholders, drive compliance and commercial alignment, introduce innovative learning approaches (including AI), build the L&D service catalogue, and lead a high-performing L&D team.

Lead and deliver technology risk and assurance engagements (ITGC, application controls, automated processes). Plan, execute and report audits, manage engagement budgets/resources, mentor staff, identify and escalate risks, provide practical recommendations, and support business development and practice improvement.

Lead complex auditor independence consultations, advise on ethics and conflicts, manage escalations, drive process improvements and automation, support policy implementation, mentor junior staff, and manage resourcing to ensure regulatory-compliant independence outcomes.

The Senior Consultant will support the growth of BDO's R&D Tax and Government Incentives practice by engaging clients, identifying funding opportunities, and mentoring junior staff while delivering high-quality outcomes.

The role involves providing high-level administrative support to Audit & Assurance partners, managing communications, overseeing client administration, financial support, and maintaining records management.
