About the Role
Our Business Services division ensures our clients' success by adding value in every aspect of their business through the provision of world-class advisory and compliance services. You’ll be involved in providing professional accounting services to a diverse range of family owned businesses, from start-ups to global entities and focus on helping our clients understand their business and provide practical strategies to help them succeed. This role will provide you exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.
Current Opportunity
As an accomplished Manager you’ll focus on delivering high quality, value adding work while developing your career in a high performing team. You will be involved in providing professional accounting and taxation services to a diverse range of family-owned businesses and investment structures, high net wealth groups and inbound international clients including significant global entities. This role will provide you exposure to numerous clients across a broad range of industries.
We are looking for someone to work in a hybrid arrangement, predominately from our Sydney CBD office, paired with the choice of our GWS (Parramatta), as well as the opportunity to work from home.
Day to day you will:
Contribute to team management of workflow and team output
Manage client engagements and ongoing relationships
Lead, advise and /or assist on business services, accounting and tax engagements
Prepare and review a range of financial statements in accordance with regulatory, accounting and financial reporting standards;
Perform various tax planning tasks for clients and preparing advice relating to business operations and regulatory matters;
Work autonomously on tax and FBT returns and identify non-compliance issues;
Provide ongoing support for virtual CFO engagements with clients
Engage with our culture of coaching and mentoring staff on engagement.
What you’ll bring to set you up for success
Accounting and/or tax background, including applicable tertiary studies;
5 + years accounting and/or tax experience;
Understanding of tax, accounting and financial reporting principles and practices;
Xero accounting system knowledge (preferable but not required);
Other software platforms that would be highly regarded include Business Fitness, Monday.com and Workday PSA.

Skills Required
- Accounting and/or tax background
- Applicable tertiary studies in accounting, tax, or a related field
- At least 5 years of accounting and/or tax experience
- Understanding of tax, accounting, and financial reporting principles and practices
- Xero accounting system knowledge
- Business Fitness, Monday.com, or Workday PSA experience
