Produce and maintain clear, standards-compliant technical documentation for autonomous surface vessels by collaborating with engineers and product teams, translating complex technical concepts for end users, and updating materials per feedback and DoD guidelines.

Design, implement, and deploy software for autonomous maritime platforms and edge devices. Work on navigation, perception, control, sensor integration, and networking. Build APIs and interfaces to onboard hardware and cloud services, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and support field tests and government demonstrations.

Maintain and update electrical and mechanical component libraries in ECAD/MCAD systems. Interpret component datasheets, enter part attributes and metadata, field engineer questions, flag discrepancies, and keep auditable records following defined standards and workflows.

Lead electrical infrastructure design, standards, and construction for industrial facilities. Own project programming, equipment sizing, RFPs, third-party design reviews, field commissioning, and small-project design management; travel ~10%.

Lead design, analysis, and development of autonomous surface vessel hulls, structures, and mechanical systems. Coordinate CAD modeling, structural design, integration of autonomy systems, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and produce technical documentation and reports.

Design, implement, and optimize embedded system software for autonomous surface vessels using NixOS. Integrate with hardware, implement controls and sensor fusion, optimize low-bandwidth networking, test and validate software, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and document designs for maritime environments.

Lead quality planning and execution across NPI stages, driving DFMEA/PFMEA, control and inspection plans, process validation, MRB support, root-cause analysis, and QMS documentation to enable scalable production.
