Lead C12’s nanofabrication strategy, process development, yield improvement, production scale-up, and process control. Build and manage a growing team of engineers and technicians, resolve technical deviations, guide equipment procurement, and collaborate with chip design, operations, downstream production, external foundries, and research partners. The role balances next-generation R&D with robust, reproducible manufacturing for quantum processors.

Lead development of C12’s quantum measurement software framework. Design architectures for instrument control, high-throughput data storage, and measurement orchestration; collaborate with research and engineering teams to translate experimental requirements into scalable software. Own the software lifecycle, including code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, security, and maintainability. Mentor junior engineers and promote strong software development practices in a collaborative quantum computing environment.

Design and deploy self-hosted LLM infrastructure and agentic automation across R&D, IT, and operations. Build end-to-end AI workflows, MCP servers and integrations, ensure secure on‑prem deployments, implement observability and iterate on agent performance, and deliver production-ready internal tools.

Own and mature engineering processes for quantum hardware development, working across R&D and engineering teams to characterize processes, analyze variability, investigate failures, improve yield and repeatability, and establish metrics, controls, validation, manufacturability, and industrialization foundations.

Develops 2.5D and 3D integration architectures and advanced packaging for quantum processors. Responsibilities include designing interconnects, interposers, TSVs, micro-bumps, hybrid bonds, chiplet interfaces, and integrating QPUs with cryogenic CMOS, RF, photonics, MEMS, and substrates. Performs electrical, electromagnetic, mechanical, and thermal simulations; defines fabrication processes; develops test vehicles; analyzes measurements; and collaborates across engineering and manufacturing teams.
