Lead development, training, optimization, and edge deployment of perception models for maritime autonomous vehicles. Curate fleet data, run measurable ML experiments, build data pipelines, establish evaluation frameworks, and integrate models with vehicle software to validate real-time performance on embedded hardware.

Lead design and implementation of real-time perception algorithms (detection, tracking, sensor fusion) for embedded maritime vehicles. Integrate ML and classical methods, optimize for embedded/GPU hardware, build tests and simulations, select and evaluate sensors, mentor engineers, and field-test algorithms on USVs.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for autonomous ocean vehicle software; act as customer point of contact; produce integration guides and documentation; debug real-world deployments; assist with payload and feature integrations; collaborate with engineering to reproduce and fix issues; develop and maintain customer-facing Python utilities and tools.
