Lead value management across Skipton’s Agile Release Train and change portfolio. Responsibilities include creating enterprise dashboards, using predictive analytics to identify risks and opportunities, managing dependencies and performance metrics, facilitating continuous improvement workshops, and coaching stakeholders on agile portfolio management. The role partners with senior leaders across Technology, Finance, Product, and Agile Release Trains, using Power BI, Apptio TargetProcess, and Azure DevOps to improve delivery transparency, performance, and value.

As Principal Engineer for the Customer Engagement Platform, you will set technical direction, establish standards for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, and lead engineering teams to ensure high performance and reliability.

Lead the Group’s stress testing framework across ICAAP, Recovery Planning, Reverse Stress Testing, Climate Risk, and scenario analysis. Design scenarios, challenge models and assumptions, assess capital and liquidity vulnerabilities, maintain governance, and produce Board, executive, and regulatory reporting. The role requires influencing stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and business teams while ensuring regulatory compliance, auditability, and continuous improvement.

Design, administer, and evolve secure, highly available database platforms. Lead database architecture, automation, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, monitoring, performance optimization, backup and disaster recovery. Investigate complex incidents, improve platform resilience, establish governance and security controls, collaborate with engineering teams, and mentor database engineers. Participate in on-call support and drive continuous improvement across cloud and enterprise database services.

Develop and implement Azure cloud data solutions using Databricks, Data Factory, dbt, SQL, and Python. Build end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines, maintain and optimize enterprise data warehouses, apply data modelling principles, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Participate in Agile delivery, code and design reviews, testing, CI/CD, process improvement, and mentoring while helping transition the organization from on-premises infrastructure to a cloud-native data platform.

Provides second-line risk oversight, challenge, assurance, and reporting across information security, technology, AI, data, change, and operational resilience. Assesses controls and mitigation plans, leads thematic reviews and risk assessments, escalates issues, advises stakeholders, strengthens risk culture, and presents emerging risks and trends to senior leaders and committees in a regulated environment.

Leads second-line oversight, challenge, and assurance across operational risks, including technology, cybersecurity, resilience, data, third-party, and change risks. Advises senior stakeholders, strengthens risk frameworks and governance, produces executive and Board reporting, supports regulatory initiatives, and leads a high-performing operational risk team through coaching and continuous improvement.

Strengthen the enterprise risk management framework through risk reporting, analysis, governance, oversight, and challenge. The role identifies emerging and thematic risks, translates complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders and the Board, supports regulatory alignment, and improves risk processes through systems, automation, and technology. It also requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to embed consistent risk practices across a regulated financial services organization.

Provides second-line oversight, challenge, and assurance across operational risk. Conducts risk-based reviews, control assessments, reporting, and analysis; identifies emerging risks and improvement opportunities; advises stakeholders; and supports enhancement of the operational risk framework, governance processes, and risk management practices within a regulated financial organization.

Lead technical authority for the Microsoft 365 and end‑user device platform, providing architecture, governance, and hands‑on direction. Drive M365, identity, device management, security, and software lifecycle standards; mentor engineers; partner with Security, Architecture and IT leadership to deliver secure, resilient, and automated colleague technology experiences.
