The intern collaborates with Industrial Engineering, Operations, Process, and Maintenance Engineering teams in an automated semiconductor fab.

Design Enablement Engineer Interns learn semiconductor design enablement fundamentals, support PDK activities, establish EDA/CAD scripting and automation, create technical documentation, and contribute to quality, safety, and environmental initiatives. The role includes mentorship and collaboration supporting internal and external customers in semiconductor product development and manufacturing.

Support technology development and transfer through electrical device characterization, process split evaluation, inline wafer measurements, data analysis, and process documentation. The intern will use hand probing and semiconductor process knowledge to support yield management, quality, safety, environmental, continuous improvement, and cost-containment initiatives. This temporary 12–13-week role is intended for junior-level or higher Electrical Engineering or Physics students.

Process Engineer Interns study semiconductor process conditions, chamber conditions, materials, and measurement techniques. They lead a project in FEOL, photolithography, or BEOL, monitor manufacturing activities, collaborate with engineering teams, and improve process stability, tool availability, operational efficiency, and factory line yield. The role culminates in a high-visibility presentation.

Supports semiconductor equipment maintenance documentation, Power BI dashboard development, equipment repairs and installations, and continuous improvement projects. The intern collaborates with equipment engineers to improve equipment availability, reduce costs, and increase team efficiency while gaining hands-on manufacturing experience.
