Supports the development and testing of platform-independent middleware and application software for audio products and networking technologies. Responsibilities include implementing business logic, prototyping with TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and C++, writing high-quality unit-tested code, and documenting tasks under engineering mentorship. The internship is a twelve-week summer program with remote or hybrid work based in Niles, Illinois.

The intern will help develop AI agents, prompts, knowledge bases, training materials, and best-practice resources while tracking deliverables and improving data quality, operational efficiency, user enablement, and product launch readiness.

Supports Customer Value Stream projects and the business application ecosystem, including Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and integration platforms. Responsibilities include optimizing C/C++ code for CPU and DSP architectures, porting embedded audio flows to offline simulations, exploring audio encoding and network communication, developing coding frameworks, planning tasks, and presenting work to stakeholders.

Design software experiences for Shure products from concept through launch. Create UX concepts, wireframes, prototypes, design patterns, and specifications; collaborate with product managers, developers, stakeholders, and end users; conduct usability and customer research; define requirements and use cases; and ensure designs are technically feasible, intuitive, efficient, and aligned with Shure’s quality standards.

Design, develop, test, and document cloud software for managing Shure devices and supporting audio product functionality. Collaborate cross-functionally on front-end cloud applications, serverless services, databases, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and system designs. Apply software development principles, model systems with UML, review peer code, estimate tasks, and contribute to testing and release processes.

Assists the Internal Audit team with planning and executing financial, operational, compliance, and integrated IT audits. Prepares audit documentation, process flows, risk assessments, testing workpapers, conclusions, and reports. Identifies risks and internal controls, performs substantive testing, applies data analytics, documents audit evidence, and completes assigned tasks within project timelines. The role is fully remote and performed under supervision while supporting process improvement recommendations.

Generates qualified sales pipeline across the New York market by engaging dealer partners, identifying and prioritizing leads, qualifying prospects, and supporting cross-selling and upselling. Delivers product training, launch presentations, sales messaging, and technical consultation on Shure audio solutions. Builds partner relationships, addresses competitive objections, schedules prospect calls, coordinates handoffs, and collaborates with sales and marketing teams. The remote role requires candidates in the New York area and averages 50% travel.
