Lead and manage transport planning team to deliver safe, compliant, and optimised daily transport plans. Ensure bookings meet customer expectations, allocate driver and vehicle resources, maintain WTD compliance, manage subcontractor capacity, oversee haulier self-bills, and support group projects and system developments to improve efficiency.

Serve as primary customer contact for operational contracted services, ensuring contract compliance, managing rates, equipment and staffing, monitoring performance and debtor payments, producing forecasts and reports, driving account growth, running regular customer reviews, and recommending performance and profit improvements.

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, lead and develop operational teams, meet customer KPIs, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, ensure health & safety compliance, and maintain customer and stakeholder relationships.

Create and maintain weekly production schedules using the Vision system, manage material planners, coordinate with Operations and Sales to meet customer deadlines, book outbound vehicles, manage inbound stock and materials, handle non-conforming deliveries, and improve planning processes and KPIs.

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations by running inbound and outbound schedules, directing staff, ensuring paperwork accuracy, liaising with drivers and transport providers, communicating issues to Shift Managers, producing detailed shift handovers, and proposing efficiency improvements to maintain service and schedule integrity.

Perform financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting/forecast support, and ad hoc commercial analysis. Build and improve reporting models, validate and reconcile data, and present insights to senior stakeholders to support decision-making.
