Manages financial administration for outgoing subawards, including reviewing payment terms, monitoring subrecipient compliance, processing and tracking invoices, obtaining approvals, maintaining databases, and preparing FFATA reports. Serves as a primary contact for faculty, administrators, and subrecipients while coordinating with Procurement, Accounts Payable, Finance, and Research Compliance. Supports process improvement, reporting, risk reduction, and automation initiatives related to sponsored research finance.

Tenure-track and tenured faculty will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students and postdoctoral researchers, conduct internationally recognized and independently funded AI or computer science research, and provide university and professional service. Research may focus on physical AI, human-centered AI, AI and software engineering, or AI safety, security, and alignment. Candidates will also contribute to inclusive teaching, experiential learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration across Northeastern’s colleges and research institutes.

Develop and apply physical AI, robotics, and autonomous systems for healthcare, communication sciences, and rehabilitation. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, leading an independent externally funded research program, developing technologies such as assistive systems and wearable sensors, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental, college, and university service. Candidates will collaborate across health sciences, engineering, design, and computing while supporting global student populations.

Tenure-track faculty will teach undergraduate and graduate electrical and computer engineering courses, lead an independent externally funded research program in embodied, wearable, assistive, or physical AI, and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. Candidates should advance interdisciplinary and translational research, mentor diverse global students, and participate in collaborative academic initiatives. Associate and full professors require established records of research, teaching, leadership, and recognized disciplinary impact.

Leads Northeastern’s life sciences and physical sciences spinout portfolio from venture formation through launch and early growth. Coaches founders on product-market fit, business models, commercialization, and go-to-market strategy; builds scalable training, grant support, pitch coaching, and investor-engagement programs; develops VC and ecosystem relationships; and coordinates commercialization, marketing, contracts, faculty, and university stakeholders.

Manages a portfolio of leadership-level donors and prospects, identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individuals capable of giving $10,000–$100,000 and advancing toward major gifts. Builds relationships across the university, conducts donor meetings, develops cultivation strategies, closes gifts, maintains Salesforce records, tracks activity and metrics, and collaborates with advancement, college, and unit staff to support fundraising goals.

Supports and enhances Workday Time Tracking and Payroll through requirements analysis, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, process improvement, documentation, training, and user support. Serves as a liaison among Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, vendors, and university stakeholders. Leads functional solutions and provides project lifecycle oversight, including planning, communication, user acceptance testing, change management, and operational support.

Plans and manages 50+ annual virtual and in-person events, including career fairs, expos, orientations, town halls, and training sessions. Coordinates venues, catering, vendors, technology, invitations, registration, budgets, volunteers, and on-site logistics. Provides virtual event support, manages stakeholder communications, troubleshoots issues, tracks attendance and feedback, and recommends improvements to event processes and vendor relationships.
