Lead and mature the organization’s security governance, risk, and compliance program. Responsibilities include regulatory and framework compliance, IT and security risk assessments, risk-register maintenance, audit and regulatory support, policy governance, third-party risk assessments, remediation tracking, and GRC reporting. The Reinsurance Business Analyst partners with Reinsurance, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, technology teams, and vendors to analyze processes, document requirements, and enhance reinsurance platforms. Responsibilities include creating Agile user stories, mapping workflows, supporting integrations and releases, coordinating QA and UAT, resolving defects, maintaining documentation, and identifying automation opportunities. The role requires deep P&C reinsurance expertise, including treaty and facultative structures, premium administration, claims, retrocession, regulatory reporting, SQL, advanced Excel/VBA, and reinsurance platform experience.

Leads finance governance and strategic oversight for delegated authority and program business. Responsibilities include managing finance staff, accounting, reporting, reconciliations, settlements, forecasting, bordereaux oversight, controls, audit readiness, exception management, and regulatory compliance. Partners with underwriting, claims, actuarial, technology, data teams, MGAs, and TPAs. Owns finance transformation, automation, data governance, systems implementation, and operating model improvements while supporting portfolio growth, profitability, risk management, and operational effectiveness.

Supports finance, accounting, reporting, reconciliations, settlements, controls, forecasting, and exception management for delegated Property & Casualty insurance programs. Reviews automated bordereaux outputs, prepares journal entries, analyzes variances, maintains workpapers, coordinates issue resolution, and supports audits and regulatory reporting. Partners with underwriting, claims, actuarial, technology, data teams, MGAs, carriers, and TPAs to improve financial processes, automation, data quality, and governance.

Evaluates commercial insurance risks, identifies loss exposures, assesses safety controls, and develops risk improvement recommendations for multinational and domestic accounts. Conducts risk surveys, analyzes loss trends, prepares reports, follows up on compliance, and provides consultative risk management services. Collaborates with underwriting, claims, marketing, and clients; supports large-loss investigations and promotes risk engineering services to producers and prospective accounts.

Prepare and submit commercial insurance filings to U.S. state insurance departments. Manage filings in SERFF, FilingRamp, iFile, and state systems; interpret regulations; maintain form libraries and filing records; track approvals, objections, and effective dates; draft regulator responses; and coordinate with actuarial, underwriting, legal, compliance, and product teams. Help develop standardized filing processes and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Gather and analyze commercial insurance form, rate, and rule requirements; translate business needs into system specifications; document requirements; support system design, development, prioritization, and user acceptance validation; communicate between business and technical teams; assess risks and impacts of system changes; and identify process automation and improvement opportunities.

Performs risk-based internal audits with moderate supervision, including risk analysis, internal control testing, evidence evaluation, workpaper preparation, audit observations, reporting, and remediation tracking. Identifies control gaps and operational improvements while supporting audit planning through reporting. Maintains relationships with business units, manages deadlines, and stays current on regulations, audit practices, and the Institute of Internal Auditors’ standards. May coach Staff Auditors on assigned tasks without formal supervisory responsibility.

Adjusts moderate to complex commercial insurance claims within delegated authority. Responsibilities include investigating claims, verifying coverage, setting reserves, negotiating settlements, handling subrogation, coordinating defense counsel, maintaining claim documentation, communicating with customers, completing regulatory reports, and complying with fair claims practices, licensing, and continuing education requirements.
