The Senior Accountant supports financial accounting and reporting by managing monthly and year-end closes, preparing GAAP-compliant financial statements, reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, analyzing variances, supporting audits and Form 990 preparation, maintaining internal controls, researching accounting standards, and improving Workday Financials processes. The role serves as a subject matter expert in Workday and complex healthcare accounting transactions and may require occasional overtime.

Manages administrative, operational, research, grant, student, and community programs for the Harrington Trust and iREACH Research Institute. Responsibilities include coordinating projects, databases, events, communications, budgets, contracts, IRB activities, data acquisition, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder partnerships. The role is hybrid and requires three days per week onsite.

Review, analyze, and redline IT vendor contracts to ensure legal sufficiency and alignment with enterprise standards. Negotiate terms and SLAs, collaborate with Legal and Security teams to mitigate risks, manage contract-related projects, identify process gaps, and develop training and documentation to improve contract quality and vendor management.

Provide HR-focused analytics and reporting to drive hiring, engagement, and retention decisions. Design and maintain HR scorecards, perform ad-hoc and predictive analyses, pull and validate data from Workday and SQL sources, support targeted recruitment campaigns, and translate business needs into reliable data products and presentations.

Provide enterprise-level administration and end-user support for Workday Learning: configure roles/privileges, troubleshoot issues, produce reports, audit data integrity, test eLearning, coordinate with stakeholders, and support LMS-related projects and implementations.

Lead claims management for professional and general liability across the health system. Oversee intake to resolution, direct litigation strategy, manage outside counsel, mentor claims staff, collaborate with clinical, finance, and insurance partners, perform reserve analyses, drive cost containment and compliance, and present trends and metrics to executive leadership and the Board.

Support the full lifecycle of legal matters, claims, and litigation. Research and analyze legal information; prepare case summaries, chronologies, and legal correspondence; manage subpoenas and discovery; maintain case files and electronic case management records; coordinate with attorneys, insurers, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders; assist with reporting incidents and scheduling depositions, mediations, and meetings.

The Senior Revenue Accounting Analyst will evaluate patient accounts receivable, assist in month-end processes, and engage in financial reporting using Kodiak RCA.
