Define and own RuneScape's cohesive visual direction across environments, characters, UI, VFX, lighting and cinematics. Lead and develop a large multidisciplinary art team, set and enforce quality standards, improve cosmetic content and pipelines, partner with Creative, Product and Engineering, and ensure visuals support accessibility and cross-platform play on PC and mobile.

Lead and maintain the art quality bar for RuneScape: DragonWilds across internal and external teams. Establish artistic vision, create style guides, provide actionable feedback, improve multidisciplinary art pipelines, mentor artists, and coordinate asset delivery with production. The role requires extensive end-to-end PC or console game development experience and hands-on knowledge across multiple disciplines including environments, characters, concept art, technical art, UI, VFX, or animation.

Lead and align external co-development teams to deliver high-quality gameplay and content for RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Provide design leadership, review deliverables, translate creative vision into actionable guidance, unblock teams with hands-on support and prototyping, establish review processes, and champion player-focused iteration across multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Provides technical leadership across multiple engineering teams responsible for player platform systems, including payments, subscriptions, accounts, identity, web, launcher, support, and trust. Defines technical strategy and standards, guides architecture, manages technical debt and lifecycle decisions, develops senior engineering leaders, oversees budgets and outsourced partners, and communicates technical trade-offs to business and technology stakeholders. Requires deep experience leading complex software platforms and expertise in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and microservices.

Leads escalated security investigations, determines root cause and impact, and improves detection and incident response capabilities. Builds detection rules, monitoring queries, automation, tooling, runbooks, and playbooks across cloud, endpoint, network, and application environments. Conducts threat hunting using adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK, collaborates with internal engineering teams and an external SOC, and participates in an on-call rotation.

Lead end-to-end delivery of mobile-focused features for Old School RuneScape. Own feature pipelines, milestone planning, release cadence, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Work with Product and Design to prioritise backlogs, run retrospectives, maintain documentation, and enable cross-functional teams to remove blockers and deliver consistent updates to a live-service game.

Implement and own multiplayer gameplay systems in UE5 C++ and Blueprint using GAS. Build responsive, networked combat and ability systems, collaborate with designers, debug client/server desyncs, profile and optimize for performance and bandwidth, and maintain reusable, scalable gameplay frameworks for a live multiplayer game.

Manage end-to-end finance operations including AP exception resolution, shared mailbox support, journals, accruals, reconciliations, cash and PSP (PayPal, Adyen) matching, and month-end tasks. Support NetSuite implementation via UAT, training and master-data administration, provide audit evidence, and identify process improvements to strengthen controls and automation.

Lead QA strategy and testing for an open-world UE5 multiplayer live-service game. Own test approaches for networking, persistence, performance, and gameplay systems; use automation, telemetry, profiling and analysis tools to identify and mitigate risks. Mentor QA team members, improve QA processes, and coordinate with development, design, Live Ops, Localization and Submission to ensure stable, balanced, and high-quality player experiences.

Create polished UI artwork and assets for front-end and in-game features, translate UX wireframes into refined interfaces, support UI implementation in Unreal Engine, maintain style guides and asset toolkits, iterate on designs from player feedback and testing, and collaborate with UX, design, art, and engineering teams.
