The Principal AME Equipment Engineer will lead battery manufacturing equipment design, project management and integration, ensuring safety and efficiency from concept to mass production.

Validate battery pack electrical and thermal performance for the Auxiliary Power System. Develop automated test software using LabVIEW or CANalyzer, create validation procedures and test cases, specify instrumentation and data acquisition methods, analyze results, support BMS development, document findings, troubleshoot test setups, and build safe, organized laboratory test stations.

Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure spanning factory-floor systems, edge devices, datacenters, and IT networks. Build infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows, automate provisioning and deployments, manage monitoring and logging, and support 24/7 system availability through on-call rotations. The role requires hands-on management of physical hardware, troubleshooting across infrastructure layers, and close collaboration with manufacturing, facilities, business systems, and engineering teams in an on-site environment.

Define, develop, and verify HV and LV electrical system requirements for an EV platform. Create architectures, power budgets, fault-management strategies, and test plans; integrate charging, BMS, thermal management, and safety/standards compliance across cross-functional teams.

Lead budgeting and forecasting for BOM, Engineering NRE, and tooling. Serve as BOM subject-matter expert, analyze variances, partner with Engineering and Supply Chain on ECOs and CRB reviews, ensure data integrity, and deliver ad hoc financial analyses and insights to support leadership decisions.

Lead end-to-end systems engineering for ADAS, teleoperation, and EV platform architectures for military/dual-use vehicles. Define requirements, design logical/physical architectures, develop low-latency teleoperation pipelines, manage functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity work products, decompose requirements in Flow Engineering, define DVP&R, and oversee testing from SIL/HIL to proving ground with data-driven calibration.

Develops Ignition-based dashboards, reports, alerts, integrations, and automation for manufacturing operations. The role connects Siemens OpCenter MES and relational databases, writes SQL and Python/Jython logic, monitors system performance, and troubleshoots application and integration issues. It partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality, IT, supervisors, and operators to translate production needs into scalable solutions supporting KPIs such as OEE, throughput, downtime, quality, and scrap.

Supports the General Counsel and legal team with contract drafting and review, legal research, regulatory compliance, government affairs, strategic transactions, due diligence, and internal legal process improvement. The intern will gain hands-on experience with corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and transactional matters in an electric vehicle startup.

Support the Manufacturing Execution System on the factory floor by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deploying devices, managing help desk tickets, administering basic IT tasks, documenting fixes, collaborating with engineering and QA, and performing preventative maintenance on production IT equipment.

Supports manufacturing engineering for electric drive units, including rotor and stator production. Responsibilities include designing and testing tooling and equipment, developing manufacturing standards, creating work instructions and SOPs, resolving production issues, supporting lean process improvements, and preparing technical reports and presentations.
