Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders; participate in code reviews and apply Agile practices.

Develop and maintain frontend applications and server-side components using Node.js and Express with Nunjucks templates. Implement security, validation, and localization. Lead technical solution and platform architecture across Control Room products. Translate product vision into scalable, secure, commercially viable architectures; define non-functional requirements; guide engineering, security and compliance; support customer workshops, bids and roadmaps; drive adoption of cloud-native, API-first, microservices and automation practices while ensuring architecture assurance and operational resilience.

Lead and support the Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environment for a local London authority. Manage day-to-day application support tasks, guide team members, work with vendors, identify automation opportunities using Power Apps/Power Automate, and ensure operational health of SharePoint Online and integrated M365 services.

Lead and hands-on contribute to cross-functional teams building Java-based microservices and cloud-native (AWS/Azure) SaaS/PaaS solutions. Drive IaC, CI/CD, DevOps, test automation, secure scalable system design (UI, APIs, persistence), Agile practices, remote/offshore collaboration, and mentor engineers while managing delivery and commercial aspects.

Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases and cloud-based SaaS infrastructure including installation, tuning, HA, backup/recovery, security, patching, migrations, SaaS platform administration (SSO/IAM), monitoring, automation, incident response, cloud and Linux server administration, and documentation for compliance and continuous improvement.
